Plate and Tube Laser Cutting

Laser cutting technology is an excellent process for cutting carbon, aluminum alloys, and stainless-steel material in gauge thicknesses and plate. Difficult profiles, tight tolerances, and precision, high-speed cutting requirements are all great candidates for laser cutting. Our state of the art Armada laser cutting system provides us with the capability of cutting 1” Carbon Steel, 5/8” Stainless and ½” Aluminum with amazing speed while holding a .0001” tolerance on repeatability.  Hornet Manufacturing can also offer rotary tube table cutting up to 8” diameter X 20 ft length pipe.

CNC Machining

CNC Machining is a process used in precision part manufacturing that involves the use of computers to control machine tools. Our CNC Machining capability includes tools that can be controlled in lathes, mills, routers and grinders. Our new Smart Machine Vertical Mill provides a table size of 55" x 25" and allows for 51" of travel while holding the tight tolerances required for precision parts.  You can count on Hornet Manufacturing to produce precision machined parts manufactured specifically to your complete specification!

welding-2

Welding

Welding is a fabrication or sculptural process joining metals by causing fusion, which is distinct from lower temperature metal-joining techniques such as brazing and soldering, which do not melt the base metal.  Hornet Manufacturing offers MIG, TIG and shielded metal arc welding services as well as quality finishing process ensuring the final product delivered exceeds your expectations.

forming-press-2

Metal Forming

Metal forming is the metalworking process of fashioning metal parts and objects through deformation; the piece is reshaped without adding or removing material, and its mass remains unchanged.  Hornet is well positioned to meet your metal forming needs with our press break and shear machines as well as our laser cutting system, all while remaining cost effective to provide you with superior parts for any application.

PowderCoat1

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder which is applied electrostatically and cured under heat, providing for a superior coating tougher than conventional liquid paints.  The powder coating process contains no solvents and releases little to no VOCs into the atmosphere, while providing a high quality coating with reduced production time.  Hornet Manufacturing can powder coat virtually any material or part, whether produced in house or provided by the customer.  Contact us for additional information and a quotation for any of your coating needs.
